How I IGNITED My Passion
I was 14 years into my high-pressure corporate job at the Discovery Channel. The job slowly consumed a piece of me each year. The fast-paced, around the clock schedule impacted my digestion, adrenals, thyroid, and hormones, not to mention my relationships and social life. I felt like a shell of myself, but I was so far in, I didn’t think there was another way out.
I had been gunning for the next level promotion and when it was finally offered, I paused. It was what I had always wanted. It was a big step up the corporate ladder, but it would mean even more time and stress in my already depleted life. Having recently lost my mom to cancer, I was in evaluation mode, determining if I was living the life I really wanted.
So when my boss reached across his desk with outstretched hand and big job offer, I shook it, thanked him for the opportunity, and turned it down. Then I quit. And moved to Paris.
My Paris Passion
Paris was a place I had always dreamed of living, but didn’t ever think it was possible, until I decided to take a leap.
In Paris, I decompressed. I regained my health, my vitality, and that je ne sais quoi that had been missing in my life for so long.
I finally made time to get quiet to listen to what my body and my mind needed.
Spoiler: I learned I needed to slow waaaaaay down. Over time, I also learned that my brain, thoughts, and emotions needed to come together in support of a healthier lifestyle. Diet alone wasn't going to heal me. It took focusing on everything that came into my mind, body, and spirit to make a true transformation.
The good news is that you don’t have to quit your job and move to Paris to find your bliss. If you want to, though, I’d highly recommend it!

What exactly is a health coach?
A health coach is someone who wants to help you kick butt at life, or at least that’s the kind of coach I am. I offer support and guidance towards your goals. I listen to your pain, your challenges, your wants, and your desires, and I offer you suggestions on new paths to get what you want. I may even push back a little. Hey, if you wanted coddling, you’d still be talking to your family and friends about your issues, if they’re even still listening to you rehash the same junk you’ve been moaning about for years. I hold you accountable because I want to see your wins as much as you do. I want to take you out of your blah into a life that’s fully IGNITED!
Who is the IGNITE program for?
This program is for those who are tired of feeling tired. You’re tired of just shuffling from one thing to the next, with no real satisfaction. You want to lose a little weight but don’t want to lock into some “extreme” diet that you can’t, and don’t want to maintain.
